Common foods to enjoy with each season

Spring: Greens/lettuce, peas, radishes, asparagus, rhubarb, strawberries


Summer: Corn on the cob, tomatoes, peppers, summer squash, peaches, blackberries, cucumbers, green beans, melons


Fall: apples, pears, winter squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower


Winter: many of the fall foods listed above will probably be available along with cabbage, kale, rutabaga, turnips, citrus fruits (not local to the Midwest)
